The Lead Tuner and CEO (John) at Roastin Performance is a Mechanical Engineer with a Masters Degree and a Professional Engineering License in the state of Florida. He has over 7 years industry experience designing, building, and calibrating (tuning) exotic military engines and fuel systems on instrumented engine dynamometers.


Also specializing in motorsports tuning for over 15 years and specifically LS platforms for over 10 years, you can be sure the end result is unmatched to the competition and done CORRECTLY. More than 50% of tunes performed by John at Roastin Performance come from previous tuners who did not spend the required time to optimize the correct tables and parameters. Adjusted Parameters – Varies based on Tuning Level
(speed limiter removal, speedo calibration for tire size/gear ratios, trouble code removal, rev limiter, VATS removal – for engine swaps, torque reduction, throttle opening rates, VE or VVE Table, MAF table, ignition timing, cold start tables, idle airflow, idle speed, throttle cracker and follower tables, injection timing for stock and big cams – port and direct injection, fuel spray impact and evaporation tables, IAT heatsoak fix, O2 switch points, decel fuel cutoff parameters, and more)


Level 1 Tuning – NA stock or with “bolt-ons” – (intake, headers, exhaust, etc)

Level 2 TuningHighly Modified NA – (heads, bigger camshaft, aftermarket manifold/throttle body, high compression and/or stroker engine, MAF upgrades, etc)

Level 3 Tuning Turbo, Supercharged, Nitrous – (2-bar/3-bar speed density custom OS, big injectors, injector scaling, airflow scaling, flex fuel tables, OS and segment swaps, individual cylinder tuning – perform at drag strip)

Auto Transmission Tuning 4L60, 4L65, 4L70, 6L80, 6L90, 8L90, 10L80, 10L90 – (shift scheduling – vehicle speed and RPM, shift firmness, shift completion time, torque reduction, adaptive tables, converter lock-up – optimization for various modes such as towing, sport mode, etc)

Fuel Pump Control ModulesFound in many newer vehicles from ~2006 and up – (fuel pump voltage and pressures – allows factory fuel system to make more power)
